The contract is created in SAP ECC with the information which was received from SAP Ariba Sourcing. User can now check for the contract created against this RFP in SAP ECC using the tcode ME33. We use the option send quote to external system available in Actions to push this information back to SAP ECC from Ariba Sourcing. User has the option to chose between a contract and a purchase order. Once the RFP is published the suppliers respond back with the prices.This is followed by the Award proposal task where the user can choose the document type they would like to see getting created once the RFP information is pushed back to SAP ECC. User will have the option to manually select the number of suppliers they want to invite. This can be done in the tasks tab of the sourcing request.Īfter the sourcing project(RFP/RFI) has been created we can invite the supplier to send the quotation.

To get the required quotations from the supplier we will have to create a sourcing event from a sourcing request. The RFQ can be searched as a Sourcing Request in Ariba. Once saved the RFQ number is generated which can be used and searched to see the RFQ in Ariba Sourcing.

The quotes are then pushed back to SAP ECC and used to create contracts or Purchase Orders.

Once the integration is in place, the RFQ created in SAP ECC can be pushed to Ariba Sourcing.

The Client's back end system i.e SAP ECC or S4HANA can be integrated with SAP Ariba in the front using one of the integration methods available.
